Energieerzeugung und -bereitstellung im landwirtschaftlichen Kontext
Der Energiesektor hat 2024 entscheidend zur Einhaltung der Klimaschutzziele beigetragen. Etwa ein Drittel der installierten Leistung von Photovoltaikanlagen entfällt auf Freiflächenanlagen, viele davon auf landwirtschaftlichen Flächen. Die Nachfrage nach Flächen für die Entwicklung von PV-Freiflächen- und Agri-PV-Anlagen bleibt weiter hoch. Der Biogassektor hat sich aufgrund der unsicheren Zukunftsaussichten kaum weiterentwickelt. Verbesserungen der Rahmenbedingungen für den Betrieb von Biogasanlagen wurden Anfang 2025 mit dem "Biomassepaket" der Bundesregierung beschlossen. Angesichts schrittweise verschärfter Klimaschutzziele wird der Ersatz von fossilen Dieselkraftstoffen für mobile landwirtschaftliche Maschinen weiterhin diskutiert. Mögliche Maßnahmen für die Unterstützung der Einführung von Dieselalternativen umfassen steuerliche Begünstigung, Forschung und Technologieentwicklung, Demonstration alternativer Technologien in der Praxis sowie Bildungs- und Beratungsangebote.
The energy sector made a decisive contribution to meeting the climate protection targets in 2024. Around a third of the installed capacity of photovoltaic systems is attributable to ground-mounted systems, many of which are located on agricultural land. The demand for land for the development of ground-mounted PV and agricultural PV systems remains high. The biogas sector has hardly developed at all due to the uncertain future prospects. Improvements to the framework conditions for the operation of biogas plants were agreed at the beginning of 2025 with the German government's ‘biomass package’. In view of the gradual tightening of climate protection targets, the replacement of fossil diesel fuels for mobile agricultural machinery continues to be discussed. Possible measures to support the introduction of diesel alternatives include favourable tax treatment, research and technology development, demonstration of alternative technologies in practice as well as educational and advisory services.
