Improving Thermal Insulation Performance of 3D Printed Concrete Wall
In recent years, there has been significant research focus on 3D concrete printing (3DCP) technology, driven by its potential to revolutionize construction through automation. While structural aspects of 3DCP have received attention, thermal performance remains understudied. This research aims to identify optimal internal patterns for 3D-printed
concrete walls, emphasizing thermal insulation and energy reduction. Six wall models were examined, and results show that patterned 3D-printed walls have lower U-values, with the two-row triangular wall (2TRI-H) demonstrating the most significant thermal insulation improvement.
