This deliverable includes a brief description of the first database on the site-specific Design Load Cases (DLCs) based on historical metocean data. The dataset includes metocean data, statistical analysis and site-specific DLCs across the three areas of study defined in the INF4INiTY project: Scottish Sea, Baltic Sea and Adriatic Sea. In addition to the dataset, this deliverable includes a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the analysis of specific locations within these three areas and the generation of the site-specific DLCs.
The aim of this initial version of the database is to provide a first characterisation of the areas of interest in order to use the DLCs on the design of the different innovations planned in various work packages (WPs) INF4INiTY. As the project proceeds, the second database will extend the site-specific DLCs including forecasted data for different horizons and under diverse climate change scenarios.
The deliverable is divided into six brief sections describing the (i) the GUI, (ii) characteristics of the data, (iii) the three areas of study and technological requirements, (iv) historical metocean data, (v) site-specific statistical analysis and reporting, and (vi) site-specific DLCs.

The dataset includes metocean data, statistical analysis and site-specific DLCs across the three areas of study defined in the INF4INiTY project: Scottish Sea, Baltic Sea and Adriatic Sea.
Data Origin:: Experiment and Measurements The sources of the data include ERA5, the fifth generation ECMWF reanalysis for global climate), Copernicus Marine Service and the European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet). In the following, details of each source are provided. - ERA5 provides main wave, wind and MSL characteristics: 1-hour significant wave height (Hs), wave peak period (Tp) and mean wave direction, 3s wind gust data, and 1-hour average wind speed (both components at 10m and 100m) and wind direction. In addition, historical and future sea level parameters (tidal, storm surge and mean sea level data) will be collected. - Copernicus Marine Service provides current speed and ice coverage data. Different data-bases will be used for the Adriatic Sea and the rest of the areas. Moreover, data regarding the sea ice is extracted for the Baltic Sea. - EMODnet provides generic data of the soil conditions and the location of the main ports (and their characteristics). - The General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO) provides the bathymetry information.
Description of Data Processing:: Post-processing methods include (i) a statistical analysis and (ii) DLC generation: (i) The statistical analysis is provided in a report generated for each analysed location/gridpoint, includ-ing: 1. Scatter and rose diagrams: correlations between different metocean variables and the directionality of wind, wave and current. 2. Wind climate analysis: Normal and Extreme wind profiles, Extreme Operating Gust, and Extreme Coherent Gust with Direction Change generation according to IEC61400. 3. Wave climate analysis: Normal, Severe and Extreme Sea States definition, Joint Prob-ability Distributions and IFORM contour generation. 4. Current climate analysis: Normal and Extreme Current Models definition. 5. Sea level: Normal and Extreme Water Level Range and Mean Sea Level definition. (ii) The final step of the site-specific characterisation is the most critical one, which includes the generation of the site-specific DLCs. According to DNV-ST-0119 Floating wind turbine structures, there exist four different states that should be considered for the design of FOWT: i. Fatigue limit state ii. Ultimate limit state iii. Serviceability limit state iv. Accidental limit state The DLC generator included in this database, only the first two are considered.
