Frühe Mähdrescherentwicklung - Bonner Professoren und die Firma Claas
In der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts begann im deutschsprachigen Raum die Entwicklung weg vom Standdrusch hin zu mobilen Mähdreschern. Dabei hatte die Kooperation zwischen der Firma Claas und den derzeitigen Bonner Professoren des Instituts für Landtechnik (ILT) einen maßgeblichen Anteil. Der Artikel beruht auf den Informationen aus Veröffentlichungen der Professoren Vormfelde, Brenner und Dencker von 1910 -1931. Es gibt darin keine gemeinsame Veröffentlichung mit August Claas, dem maßgeblich Verantwortlichen für die technische Produktentwicklung im Unternehmen Claas, aber die Quellen geben eine guten Einblick in die Situation und Diskussion um die Ablösung des Standdrusches.
In the first half of the 20th century, the evolution from stationary threshing towards mobile combine harvesters began in German-speaking countries. The cooperation between the Claas company and professors at that time in the Institute of Agricultural Engineering (ILT) played a leading role. The information is based on the publications by Professors Vormfelde, Brenner and Dencker from 1910 - 1931. There is no joint publication with August Claas, who was largely responsible for technical product development at Claas, but the sources provide a contemporary insight into the situation and discussion surrounding the implementation of combine threshing in Germany.
