Calibrated Impulse Responses and Extracted Multipath Components from Channel Sounding at 300 GHz in a Data Center
For prospective applications of the sixth generation of mobile systems, the terahertz communication is a promising technology. The evolved data center with additionally integrated wireless links is one use case of the first THz standard IEEE Std 802.15.3d-2017. The characterization of the wireless channel with regard to multipath propagation plays a fundamental role for the development of protocols, efficient algorithms and the system design. The published data contain channel impulse responses (CIRs) measured in a real data center and extracted multipath components (MPCs) of the propagation channel and the radio channel. Double-directional channel measurements are conducted in Top-of-Rack (ToR) and Medium Height (MH) scenarios and Point-to-Point (P2P) radio channel measurements are performed in Top-of-Rack (ToR), Medium Height (MH), and Intra-Rack setups.
