Drag-Plant Interaction under varying Horizontal Orbital Velocities : Experimental dataset describing the drag-plant interaction due to varying horizontal orbital velocities under storm surge conditions
The dataset includes the experimental wave flume data that were addressed and analysed in Plant trait-mediated drag forces on seedlings of four tidal marsh pioneer species (Steinigeweg et al., 2023). The flume data were collected in 2018 in the GWK at the Forschungszentrum Küste, Hannover, Germany to test if drag forces experienced by seedlings of four tidal marsh species increase in a species-specific manner, and if they are individual plant trait-mediated. This data publication contains the original data sets of the drag and ADV sensors and all relevant data that are needed to reproduce the results and figures of the named publication.
