Track schematics can be crucial to conveying ideas in research. No lingua franca for track schematics exists, and deciphering various research papers’ symbols can be time-consuming. Graphic semiology might help generate a universal symbology to overcome this issue. This paper discusses the semiological approach’s open-source implementation.
