Unterschiedliche Reifentypen wurden in mehreren Tests miteinander verglichen. Der Einsatz von Raupenlaufwerken wird weiterhin stark diskutiert. Die Bedeutung von Reifendruckregelanlagen wird vielfach betont. Bodendruck und Befahrbarkeit werden in der Forschung verstärkt mit Hilfe von Simulationsmodellen bearbeitet. Mehrere Praxis-Lösungen für die Vorhersage der Befahrbarkeit wurden vorgestellt.
Different types of tyres have been compared in several tests. The use of crawler tracks continues to be strongly discussed. The importance of tyre pressure control systems is often emphasised. Ground pressure and trafficability are increasingly dealt with in research with the help of simulation models. Several practical solutions for predicting trafficability were presented.
