DLG-Agrifuture Insights : Klima- und Umweltschutz von zunehmender Bedeutung für die Landwirtschaft
Die Einschätzung der aktuellen Geschäftslage in 2021 ist stark von der Pandemie und der Afrikanischen Schweinepest beeinflusst. Dennoch zeigt sich weiterhin ein hohes Investitionspotential in der Pflanzenproduktion. Die Schweinehaltung steht wirtschaftlich unter enormem Druck und braucht Planungssicherheit für die Zukunft. Über alle Produktionsrichtungen steht die Effizienzsteigerung im absoluten Fokus und wird aufgrund steigender Betriebsmittel- und Energiepreise bedeutend bleiben. Zudem werden vermehrt Umwelt- und Klimaschutzleistungen in den Betrieben angewandt, welche neben einer Effizienzsteigerung auch die Nachhaltigkeitsthematik in die Strategie einfließen lassen.
The assessment of the current business situation in 2021 is strongly influenced by the pandemic and the African swine fever. Nevertheless, there is still a high investment potential in plant production. Pig farming is under enormous economic pressure and needs planning security for the future. Increasing efficiency is the absolute focus across all production directions and will remain important due to rising input and energy prices. In addition, environmental and climate protection services are increasingly being applied on farms, which, in addition to increasing efficiency, also allows the sustainability issue to flow into the strategy.
