Beobachtungen an Hammarbya paludosa (L.) Kuntze 1891 in den Jahren 2019/2020

Due to its rarity and life demands there is not much known about the biology of Hammarbya paludosa. For example, there are contradictory statements about the resupination of the blossom. Even about its development you can find only few descriptions. The following observations are made on plants in-vitro but also on plants in their natural habitat. Supported by pictures, the growth, nectar, seed, pollination, dissemination strategy, phototaxy and development are discussed. Some conclusions can be proved, others are hypothetical.
