Die Bleiche Sternmiere (Stellaria apetala Ucria) auf Friedhöfen im Taunus
Stellaria apetala (= Stellaria pallida) was obviously largely overlooked in the Taunus (Germany, state of Hesse). A targeted search on 25 cemeteries carried out in April 2018 provided 16 finds, includ-ing first evidence for 4 TK 25 and additionally for 5 quadrants. The species was predominantly found in the Stellaria pallida-Veronica arvensis community described by GRIESE (1999), which is a small-scale, closely interlocked mosaic of lawns of the alliance Cynosurion, and of therophyte assemblies of the class Koelerio-Corynephoretea. In the cemeteries of the Taunus, Stellaria apetala also grows in pure therophyte communities and in margins of tree feet. Only once it was found in a pure Cynosurion community.
