Anmerkungen und Ergänzungen zur Flora der Nordseeinsel Borkum (Ostfriesische Inseln, Niedersachsen)

Most of the alien plant species observed on the island of Borkum (East Frisian Islands, Lower Saxony) are cultivated for ornamental reasons, in some cases they escape from horticulture in a highly dynamic process. Many of them occur next to the cultivated sites on typical urban habitats like walls and roadsides while some seems to become naturalized on near-natural locations lea-ding to a change in the floristic composition of the island flora.
