Zur Flora der Hauptbahnhöfe von Mannheim und Heidelberg (Baden-Württemberg)
Typical structures of central stations like tracks, platforms, sidings etc. have been investigated in Mannheim and Heidelberg (Baden-Württemberg). 170 taxa of flowering plants, including some rare and endangered species, could have been recorded so far. Besides information on the phytosociological behavior, life forms etc. aspects of dispersal are discussed as well as the contribution of railway facilities to biodiversity in urban environments.
