Analogous dispersion properties of surf zone and electromagnetic waves

Resonant interaction processes in the surf zone are marked by an anomalous dispersion property (dc/df > 0) as it is well known from resonance absorption processes of electromagnetic waves in dielectrics.

Resonante Wechselwirkungsprozesse in der Brandungszone sind durch das Phänomen der anomalen Dispersion (dc/df > 0) gekennzeichnet. Ein solches war bislang insbesondere von Prozessen der Resonanz-Absorption von elektromagnetischen Wellen in Dielektrick bekannt.
