Eine exakte Lösung der instationären Couette-Strömung

Es wird eine exakte Lösung der instationären inkompressiblen Couette-Strömung für den Fall angegeben, daß bei einer voll ausgebildeten Couette-Strömung die zunächst ruhende Begrenzungswand plötzlich auf eine konstante Geschwindigkeit von beliebigem Betrag gebracht wird. Es wird gezeigt, daß der Reibungsbeiwert an der plötzlich in Gang gesetzten Wand für kleine Zeiten extrem hohe Werte annimmt. An Hand einiger Beispielrechnungen wird der physikalische Sachverhalt verdeutlicht.

An exact solution of the non-steady incompressible Couette-flow is presented for the case where in a fully developed Couette-flow the boundary initially at rest is suddenly accelerated to an arbitrary velocity. It is shown tht the skin friction coefficient at the suddenly accelerated wall assumes extremely high values for small [...] of time. The physical aspect of the problem is illustrated by a few sample calculations.
