Über eine Nebenreaktion bei der Reduktion [alpha], [beta]-ungesättigter Ester mit Lithiumalanat

The reaction of [alpha], [beta]-unsaturated esters gives the normal alcohols and dimeric compounds. The structures are investigated in the case of methyl crotonate and methyl y-trimethyl crotonate.
