Temperaturmessung am Dielektrikum im Hochfrequenzfeld

The problems arising with the measurement of temperature in a workpiece in the case of dielectric heating by means of a thermo-couple are discussed. The influence of the distortion of the electric field by the thermo-couple on the heat distribution is calculated and from that the optimal position of the thermo-couple in the field is derived. Examples for the measurement of temperature in wood as a dielectric are in good agreement with the general considerations.
