Radial auswärts beaufschlagte Pumpenschaufeln kleiner radialer Erstreckung

In the course of investigations on centrifugal pumps made in the "lnstitut für Strömungsmaschinen" of the Technical University, Brunswick, pseudo-axial-flow impellers were investigated, i.e. impellers with vanes short compared to the radius of the impeller wheel. Their radius-ratio was r2/r1 = 1,125. The use of these vanes was to facilitate their applicalion in the design of ventilators and the studies on flow in the axial-flow-vanes which are of great importance nowadays. Particularly the phenomenon of stalling needs further investigation.
