Zur geometrischen Optik zusammengesetzter abbildender Flächenfolgen

After having given a survey on the general aims of geometrical optics and the applications in design, there are outlined the fundamental methods of computation of the passing of the rays through a lenssystem. Reterring to the description of a new conception concerning the lawful connexion of some special functions for the geometrical-optical reproduction, the possibilities of realizing such theoretical knowledges are described. Finally it is explained by comparative examples to which extent the practical application of such developments can serve the progress of technics.
