Das Heracleo-Sambucetum Ebuli in West- und Mitteleuropa

The Heracleo-Sambucetum ebuli is a perennual plant Community, growing on calcareous and loamy soils of road sides and edges of forests which are rich in nitro-gen and simultaneously fresh. The characteristic species is Sambucus ebulus, differential species is Heracleum sphondylium. The Heracleo-Sambucetum ebuli replaces the subcontinental-submediterraneen Sambucetum ebuli in the north of France, in the southern Netherlands, in Germany and in the Alps. While the Sambucetum ebuli belongs to Arction, the Heracleo-Sambucetum is a Community of the Aegopodion alliance.
