Zur Saumvegetation der Auenwaldreste an der unteren Mittelelbe (Lkr. Lüchow-Dannenberg, Niedersachsen)
The skirts of the not diked riverside woods in the flood plain of the river Elbe are biogeographic important examples of the nitrophilous Vegetation in Lower Saxony. Stands with Myosotis sparsiflora, Senecio sarracenicus, Leonurus marruhiastrum, Arctium lappa, Barbaren stricta, and Erysimum virgatum were documentated by plant sociological releves. Exept of Arctium lappa, these species are very rare, and show at least in Lower Saxony a distinct connection to the flood plains of large rivers.
